My name is Praveen and I am a wildlife photographer.

Capturing wildlife in their glory and sharing them with the world is my passion. I have been lucky enough to capture some incredible moments in nature so I have decided to share them with everyone as a reminder of the magical world we live in. And the fact that we are responsible for sustaining it.

The world without photography will be meaningless to us. With the use of light and color I can open my mind and express my passion. My images are inspired by light, colour, a creative perspective and personality. My mind is forever searching for a way to portray the personality of the wildlife in the image. In order to achieve that its crucial to spend hours observing wildlife in their natural habitat and becoming familiar with their habits.

Growing up in the small state of Kerala surrounded with abundance of nature I was taught early on to respect and sustain nature. I watched the mongoose hunt for snakes. Wildcats move their kittens around the fields. Wild rabbits foraged the pineapple field. Colorful rose ringed parakeets flew freely across the fields and the deep blue color of the king fishers inspired the colour palatte of my imagination.
I fell sleep to the howls of the jackals at night and heard the palm civets in the attic. That was the simple magic of nature being offered to a child and I want to attain that for the future.

My hope for my photography is to bring people closer, to incite passion for wildlife and preserving their habitat.
